HealthiMinds community is an 'Open House' resource for anyone interested in understanding and improving their ability to cope in an ever busy world. Whilst anyone could access general information, access to the community requires registration which is free and with no commitment. You could choose to end your membership at anytime and decide how you want your personal data and content be managed. The community forum is moderated to ensure content are appropriate and safe.

In addition to accessing our free resources, HealthiMinds as part of its commitment, partners with experts in the following listed fields with a view to offering assessments to clarify diagnosis or offer a second opinion. Such assessments may inform decisions around treatment options which individuals may discuss with their doctors following an assessment report. Experts include a team of physicians, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and occupational therapists all registered with relevant bodies in their respective regions.

Psychological assessment

Psychological assessment to establish indicative symptoms, probable diagnosis and suitable therapy or treatments for identified mental health symptoms. Usually carried out by psychologists, such assessment may inform need for further review by a 

 

Assessment of risks and treatment in persons with suspected mental disorders

Assessment by consultant forensic psychiatrists or psychologist to inform decisions regarding disposal and or treatment or advice regarding court proceedings as required.

 

Assessments for persons with suspected Mental disorders

This is an assessment by an accredited consultant psychiatrist with expertise in assessment, diagnosis and management of suspected mental health disorders.

Assessments for persons with suspected Intellectual disability and associated mental disorders

This is an assessment by an accredited expert in assessment, diagnosis and management of suspected mental health disorders in people with intellectual disability.

Review of medication and treatment

Advice regarding current treatment, alternatives, potential risks or benefits from alternatives including non-pharmacological options.

 

Assessments for persons with suspected addictive disorders

This is an assessment by an accredited expert in assessment, diagnosis and management of addiction and associated behavioural disorders.

Couple counselling

For persons or couples experiencing relationship difficulties and are keen to engage in counselling with a view to resolving misunderstandings or differences. Initial counselling session would include follow up telephone support for up three phone calls. If further therapy are necessary, specific number of  sessions may be offered subject to individual requirements.
